About the Role:


Establecer, implementar, liderar y mantener la estrategia de permisos ambientales y permisos sectoriales mayores (SERNAGEOMIN, DGA, Consejo de Monumentos Nacionales) a lo largo del ciclo de vida de las distintas operaciones y proyectos de Minerals Americas de BHP Chile.

Asimismo, será responsable de liderar la estrategia de permisos ambientales y sectoriales mayores, hasta su obtención y posterior entrega a los dueños de proyecto.

Este rol reporta directamente a Manager Major Permits de Minerals Americas.

Principales Responsabilidades:

Análisis y mejoramiento:

  • Diseña y ejecuta los procesos de permisos ambientales y sectoriales mayores para las distintas operaciones y proyectos a cargo.
  • Administrar los servicios técnicos asociados a los permisos ambientales y sectoriales mayores.
  • Mantiene coordinación con los equipos de Ingeniería o proyectos, con el objetivo de asegurar integración correcta con las necesidades operacionales.
  • Anticipa amenazas y oportunidades en materias de permisos ambientales y sectoriales mayores para las distintas operaciones y proyectos de BHP Minerals Americas en Chile, asegurando una gestión de riesgos efectiva.
  • Velar por la incorporación en el diseño de los proyectos de los requerimientos necesarios para el cumplimiento de las normativas legales, compromisos voluntarios ambientales.
Procesos y sistemas

  • Desarrolla, implementa y monitorea los distintos procesos y planificación de permisos de las operaciones para el portafolio de Proyectos de BHP Minerals Americas.
  • Implementa y verifica la estrategia de gestión de permisos, incluyendo la identificación de riesgos asociados a estos e incorporación de gestión ambiental en los permisos, para apoyar la creación de valor social.
  • Lidera los procesos de identificación, ingreso y tramitación de permisos, dando cumplimiento a la normativa vigente aplicable y los requerimientos de BHP, incluyendo el valor social que aportan nuestras operaciones.
  • Coordina la generación de la matriz de compromisos y/u obligaciones ambientales asociados a las RCAs y/o a los permisos obtenidos para que sea implementada por los proyectos y/o operaciones.
  • Lidera el proceso de identificación de eventuales brechas de permisos ambientales y sectoriales mayores, con el desarrollo del respectivo plan de mitigación.

About You:

Para lograr una buena performance necesitarás:

  • Título profesional acorde al rol.
  • Más de 8 años de experiência en gestión de permisos
  • Más de 8 años de experiência en la dirección de permisos ambientales.
  • Experiência en minería, recursos naturales u otra área/industria similar.
  • Habilidades demostradas de gestión de proyectos.
