As Principal Improvement Autonomy Program, you will report to the Autonomy Lead Planner and will provide mine planning and business development expertise to pursue the project value integrating the mine planning process and the operation, to optimise the mine design and improve the autonomy operation through different tools (simulations, BOS practices among others), achieving the targeted value for the whole program in execution phase and studies period transferring knowledge to the operation.
You will develop simulations for the Autonomy trucks, working close to the CIO and mine planning teams given advice to the operation and short-term planning team.
Additionally, you also will lead workshops with operations and planning teams to find opportunities of improvements in the Autonomy Operation.
All the improvements will be under BOS Practices to achieve the excellence in operation for the execution phase and studies under the Autonomy program.
Finally, you will execute and iterates with the Assets, the Life of Asset (LoA) and/or 2Y plans by gathering, evaluating and challenging plan inputs and rolls out plans to stakeholders, and Coordinate and expedite Root cause Analysis to determinate the underlying cause of problems, coordinate the different teams to evaluate potential solutions, and ensure a planned and structured approach to solving complex problems.
About You:
- University graduate with a directly related degree in mining engineering, industrial with proven experience in mining industry
- 5 Years of proven experience in planning process, and operations in the mining environment.
- Experience in Dispatch, with desirable experience in Centre of operations
- Experience in continuous improevement tools, using different tools
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage people (stakeholder management skills) at all levels of the business and seniority and working in multiples geographical regions.
- Strong action orientation and superior problem solving, decision making and influencing skills.
- Effective interpersonal skills allowing you to collaborate and build relationships across areas.
- English proficiency will be a factor to consider in the selection.
