**Job Description**:
The HSS Manager has the responsibility for managing Health, Safety & Security in the country. It will lead the HSS unit of the country and will assure that its capabilities are in accordance with the country activities and necessities.

The HSS Manager in Statkraft will be responsible for evaluating risks, and developing and implementing organizational health, safety, and security programs y management systems. It is responsible to review, define and implement HSS policies, as well as assure their quality.
- Assist, support, and monitor the implementation of the Statkraft HSS strategy.
- Develop necessary Security plan(s) for Country, Office(s), operation area(s).
- Ensure that the workplace is monitored and is fully in compliance with all applicable Statkraft standards, rules and regulations in order to ensure safety place for collaborators
- Responsible of Office HSS fundamentals and governance
- Implement Statkraft’s requirements for incident follow up & Lessons Learned by nomination of qualified investigation leaders
- Ensure that an adequate programme of training for health and safety is established and that the safety culture is encouraged amongst employees.
- Keep up to date with changes in current legislation.
- Conduct health and safety inspections and prepare reports of all the company’s operations.
- Carry out investigations into all accidents and near-miss incidents and to record the findings on the relevant forms.
- Design & perform induction content, by establishing a training matrix for roles and functions locally.
- Perform local specific risk assessments.
- Establish, organize, train, and exercise the emergency preparedness for the country/offices.
- Establish necessary Security Risk Assessments for the Country, Office(s) and/or operation area(s).
- Provide expertise and leadership that will engage leaders and the organization in driving the culture of safety.
- Responsible of coordinating and maintaining the ERP tier 2 & training employees 3 times a year.
- Single point of Contact for HSS matter in a country basis including but not limited to; Security, Corporate HSS initiative implementation.
- Report weekly and monthly information related to O&M and project to the BA HSS head
- Take a proactive approach toward the implementation of the CPM in new projects, especially in M&A and green fields.

**Qualifications**:
**Credentials**:

- Engineering degree Electrical/Civil/Mechanical.
- Specific HSSE qualification in accordance to Chilean law, including Occupational health y safety security (e.g. Risk prevention management).
- +5 years of experience in HSS managerial roles.
- +10 years of experience in HSS matters.
- Experience in renewable projects development, construction, and operations will be desirable.
- Excellent knowledge of local HSS legislation.
- Extensive experience within HSS management.
- Desirable knowledge on integrated management systems ISO 9001 and 45001.
- Wide knowledge in high-risk construction activities with special focus on lifting, groundworks, work at height, confined space, energized systems, transportation, heavy mobile equipment, driving, etc.
