Santiago de Chile Uber A tiempo completo

Uber is a very dynamic business with different business units organization (Mobility, Delivery - New Verticals, Freight) very soon we'll have full integration of Cornershop by Uber, a Chilean company that has grown very fast in the last 2 to 3 years changing how market does business mainly during Pandemic.

Considering that HC in Chile has increased substantially with CS acquisition and with a sophisticated Labor Relations environment, CS has an Employee's Unions with approximately 600 employees unionized and it is important to have local Employee and Labor Relations support to guarantee business continuity and growth without disruption

Such an environment (dealing with a current collective agreement in place and employee's union in Chile) is not a common ground for Uber in LATAM. In addition, with employment law changes in Mexico that will also impact Collective Bargaining Agreements, how companies must interact with Unions in the workplace is a new challenge for Uber.

As Employee and Labor Relations Partner, based in Santiago, Chile, the role will be part of the Employee Relations (ER) team at Uber within the People & Places (P&P) organisation. Together with the ER Director, will be responsible for defining and implementing our Labor Relations program in order to foster a positive social climate and a constructive dynamic with the Works Councils in Chile and in any other employee representatives’ body in the LatAm region

- Coordinating and advising the HR teams on matters related to employees representation, in compliance with local social legal regulations
- Liaising with the relevant collaborators (HR, Legal, Operations, Communications) to prepare and implement various projects (coordination, risk management and alignment), and deploy programs and policies towards the Works Councils
- Leading collective consultation processes in the region, including towards the relevant public authorities
- Ensuring Uber’s compliance to social relations regulations in LATAM countries, mainly Chile and Mexico

**What You'll Need**:

- Chile employment law and/or industrial relations background required
- 5+ years’ of demonstrable experience with Works Councils
- Strong analytical skills
- Structured, rigorous and detailed oriented
- Skilled negotiator and a solid team member manager
- Able to influence others, confident and assertive
- Able to express legal related topics in a clear, concise and pragmatic manner
- Project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written
- Fluent Spanish and English
