**About the Role**

Uber Direct is constantly evolving the way delivery is done around the world by allowing brands to leverage Uber's technology to connect with its delivery partners to offer last-mile delivery to their customers through their existing websites or apps.

The Earner Operations team is responsible for guaranteeing we provide our delivery partners (couriers) with the best-in-class experience when it comes to accepting and fulfilling an Uber Direct trip regardless of whether it's for a restaurant, a grocer, or a retailer; ensuring it remains an attractive alternative for them to generate additional income.

**What You'll Do**:

- Look for collaboration with different teams to come up with innovative solutions to problems and issues of the operation
- Strive to give our earners the best operation resulting in the enablement for commercial success. Look for opportunities in improvement across the whole supply chain considering the quality of couriers; the trip duration; the rate of completion of trips and the needs of commercial team.
- Challenge the status quo to drive innovation needed to offer Earners and Merchants a flawless experience. Be hands on the field when we face problems that cannot be dangled in the data itself
- Do your best by analyzing and taking actions towards the operation to ensure every trip has outstanding performance
- Look at the big picture to understand our long-term vision for Direct in LatAm and understand the small, short-term actions that will have a big impact on getting us there

**Basic Qualifications**

- Strong skills for analysis and building reports and SQL proficiency
- English proficiency
- Strong project management skills
- 2+ years of professional work experience in a related field (start-up, operations, strategy, analytics, tech)
- Data-driven approach to make decisions and measuring performance
- Passionate about being constantly challenged and going above and beyond.
- Self-driven and motivated to proactively build/drive new initiatives.
- Be comfortable in a fast paced environment with constant changes.
- Experiment and work hard to build quickly. This individual will need to identify and evaluate solutions for short and long-term operational problems
- Experience working closely and presenting optimally with a diverse set of stakeholders in a constantly evolving, rapid growth environment with tight deadlines
