**The Work You’ll Do**:
The HR Lead, SSA (Spanish speaking Latam) will work with the Director, Human Resources Latam and organizational management team to help develop and drive strategic, all-encompassing people initiatives that promote business objectives while ensuring company policies and practices are interpreted and administered in a consistent manner. The HR Lead, in Latam will report to the Director, Human Resources, South America.

**The Work You'll Do**:

- Oversee and manage all round HR activity, from strategic to transactional and operational HR, including payroll, social security administration, social benefits and monthly reporting
- Lead the local HR team, ensuring all are working on clear objectives which underpin the success of the HR and business goals and in line with Sovos values and leadership competencies
- Coach managers and supervisors with the main focus on alignment between the vision and goals of the regional and / or global HR objectives which are translated into objectives for LATAM and / or a specific line of business (LOB)
- Promote the development and implementation of HR processes, systems and programs which promote the business goals
- Coach managers / supervisors to set up appropriate and simple organizational structures with clear accountability, reporting lines and line-of-sight
- Work with our Global Practice Leads to execute learning and development and talent management, through promoting a culture of continuous learning, either to keep up with business, or to excel and further improve
- Outline the regional and / or global HR strategic initiatives in a local environment and translate regional / global initiatives into a local context
- Drive HR functional excellence and take it to the next level
- Proactively identify improvement needs for HR to better promote business goals

**What We Need from You**
- Proven track record as an HR Business Partner / HR Generalist in a complex global matrix business
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively on all levels both inside and outside Sovos, often on confidential and / or sensitive topics
- Business level capability in both English & Spanish languages (written and spoken)
- Well-developed business ethics and the ability to maintain a high level of discretion
- Ability to build relationships with and influence all levels of employees including management level of organization
- Ability to be strategic towards business outcomes as well as manage and handle day-to-day details and deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple priorities (at times conflicting), remain focused under pressure and work extended hours as needed
- Comfortable with implementing complex people processes and HR tools with impact on business outcome
- Knowledge of HR systems and tools (e.g ADP, SAP or equivalent)
- Knowledge of legislative/employment laws in LATAM region (Chile, Perú, Colombia, Ecuador)
