Job Overview
The HR Business Partner will work in close collaboration with strategy HR Business Partners, reporting to the Chile HR Manager and working closely with local & regional business leaders.
This role will facilitates alignment between HR strategy and organizational/functional strategy while closely partnering with HR COE´s ( Talent Acquisition, Comp& Ben, Talent & Development, HRSS & HRIS) and staff areas Finance, CIO/IT & Facilities & Environmental H &Safety).
Will be in charge to implements and monitors HR operations projects, initiatives, programs and policies including benefits administration, employee relations, local initiatives, budget definitions and HR information systems updates to support global/regional and country strategy.
Essential Functions
- Provide support and conduct ad hoc reviews as directed and propose recommendations in handling employment legislation, disciplining employees; compliance, HR systems, practices and procedures providing support and education to line management addressing employee relations issues and resolving problems.
- Lead implementation of projects and process improvement activities related to employment legislation, HR systems, practices, procedures, compliance, benefits administrations, day-to-day development of redesign and new local and global HR initiatives.
- Participate as assigned, with mínimal supervision, in working with senior HR team members in the day-to-day development and implementation of new local and global HR initiatives.
- Responds to management and employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, programs and guidance on aspects related to people management, absenteeism, workforce planning, talent development, management, etc.
- Operate as first point of contact for basic management of HR related queries and issue analyzing trends within the organization in turnover, hiring, promotions and separations to determine support or action needed to adjust unfavorable trends.
- Work with more experienced HR team members on organizational effectiveness and HR partnering change management efforts associated with reorganizations, mergers/acquisitions and transfers to ensure compliance to local legislation.
- Guide & supervise the HROp´s team as HROPs teaM/First point of contact for HR-related queries and work in conjunction with senior members of the HR team, Payroll and line management on issues.
- Develops and implements near-term human resources plans that are effective in addressing organization issues and are consistent with business goals.
- Organizes plans for human resources initiatives with assistance and counsel from more senior HR Business Partner or HR specialist and integrates those plans across businesses/functions to ensure synergy and coordination.
- Conduct, design and manage local communications relative human resources operations initiatives, organizational communications programs, processes and policies.
- Support the continuous improvement of the HR function, With limited guidance, provide HR support to employees and management across local, regional & global business units and functions.
- Implement organizational design maintaining HR information systems quality controls, workforce planning; local budget administration and business operations initiatives.
- Develop strong and effective team relationships with HR specialist functions/Centers of Excellence and staff areas e.g., HRSS, Talent Acquisition, Comp&Ben, Finance, CIO/IT teams & Facilities & Environmental H &Safety
**Qualifications**:
- Human Resources or equivalent Bachelor's Degree
- Extensive knowledge of local and relevant employment legislation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and very good interpersonal skills and very high degree of discretion and confidentiality
- Good ability to work in a matrix environment; able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers and internal clients
- Excellent problem solving, judgment and decision making skills, plus strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead a project, multi-task, prioritize and plan routine activities
- Good presentation & influencing skills
- Payroll Experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and intermediate English level
- HYBRID position, able to perform 3 days per week based at our local office
