**Duties and Responsibilities**:
- Partner with stakeholders on requirements and to understand their needs, and work cross-functionally with other Outrider teams
- Support long term planning, scheduling and budgeting
- Manage the day-to-day of team members
- Support hiring, mentoring and team growth
- Lead the development and implementation of Outrider’s product security strategy
- Contribute generally to the growth and success of the Company and the building of a vibrant culture focused on the responsible deployment of zero-emission autonomous vehicle technology.
- Effectively partner with others in the organization with thoughtfulness and empathy
**Required Qualifications**:
- Proven experience managing teams with highly diverse skill sets
- Experience with hiring and retaining high-impact people from diverse backgrounds with diverse motivations
- Experience mentoring engineers and other team members
- Experience evaluating and integrating external services and software
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Experience with preparing for and going through the SOC2 audit process (or similar framework)
- 5+ years of technical experience
- 4+ years of team management experience
**Ideal Qualifications**:
- Experience with IoT and related technologies
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum
- Experience with applicable security standards such as ISO 21434
