**Job Duties**:
The Technology Region Manager will be accountable for operational and strategic management with the incumbent leveraging Product Support technology teams to maintain and improve the performance of Caterpillar Technology Products deployed at their sites. This includes coordination and collaboration with other Technology Regional Operations Mangers that service MineStar’s multinational mining customers.
**Key responsibilities for the Technology Region Manager include**:
- Provide leadership and direction to support multiple Technology mining accounts within their region that provides a values-based approach to the MineStar Technology business.
- Lead the Operations management of Customer, Dealer, site, commercial, and Operations technology business issues.
- Partner with regional customer management to ensure customer satisfaction and promote ongoing business opportunities.
- Collaboration with Account Managers, client personnel, Product Support staff, and other Regional Operations Managers to allocate resources and resolve issues associated with MineStar Technology accounts.
- Responsible for regional collaboration alignment of MineStar operational strategies, deliverables, contractual commitments, and account performance expectations.
- Development and adherence to Operations budgets and resourcing strategies.
- Deliver the performance and safety of technology solutions within their assigned region, working collaboratively with Customer Technology Managers to ensure success of their operations.
**Selection Criteria**:
- Fluent in English, Spanish and Portuguese.
- 8 years of mining operations experience.
- 5 years of mining technology experience.
- Dealer and Customer support related roles.
- Significant experience in progressively responsible leadership role.
- Knowledge and understanding of Caterpillar Dealer operations.
- Excellent interpersonal skills required to deal with sensitive issues, development of subordinates, and collaboration with others.
- MineStar Technology Operations business management experience across their region.
- Up to 20% travel required.
Relocation is available for this position.
