Extensive experience in automotive industry, technology business development, product and partner management, or solution development.
- 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales & marketing, dealer relations, and/or digital customer engagement (DCE)
- 3-5 years of business experience with end-to-end negotiation, including identifying, developing, and executing successful partnerships such as large-scale technical or marketing deals, complex automotive technology related transactions, and/or strategic automotive technology relationships.
- Experience working in team that have scaled partnerships and industry solutions globally.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or proven technical acumen.

AWS is looking for an Automotive Business Development Manager (BDM) capable of driving market development for automotive opportunities leveraging the richness of the AWS cloud computing platform to address transformational opportunities in automotive.

Strategic Responsibilities
- Work with industry strategy leads/SMEs, and service team leaders to shape new automotive solutions and associated business models, partnerships, and strategic efforts aligned to support the automotive industry strategy.
- Monitor and evaluate industry trends and customer drivers.
- Identify business opportunities and perform market research to create business leads and identify potential projects.
- Develop and implement overarching sales strategies, processes, and best practices across the company.

Operational Responsibilities
- Generate new customer and partner relationships to ensure new business and opportunities are identified.
- Generate new leads, identify and contact decision-makers, screen potential business opportunities, select the deals in line with strategies, and lead and facilitate pitch logistics.
- Serve as an evangelist for related services and platform within AWS and externally, conducting executive workshops with business leaders and executives.
- Develop new services or packaged offerings, collaborating with AWS and externally, conducting executive workshops with business leaders and executives.
- Coordinate with account teams, and interface with customer at required stages of the bidding process.
