You’ll be a key member of a team ensuring Salesforce conducts business globally in accordance with the highest legal and ethical standards, reporting to a Senior Corporate Counsel or Corporate Counsel. In this role, you’ll be responsible for participating cross-functional teams, liaising with our business and operational teams, as well as other groups at Salesforce and within the Global Ethics & Integrity and legal team, diligencing trade issues, and help shaping customer awareness, export controls, and sanctions compliance policies and processes to help us scale and enhance our compliance program as Salesforce continues to grow.

What you’ll do:

- Facilitate and support compliance mechanisms to ensure compliance with or diligence related to new and on-going know your customer, end-use, and end-user, prohibited and restricted party rules that may require diligence, internal and external communication and cross-functional coordination on such issues as:

- Policy and process development and implementation
- Training and enablement
- M&A integration
- Screening and blocking
- Assist management in identifying and mitigating compliance risks, enhancing and implementing compliance monitoring efforts and fostering a compliance culture
- Proactively troubleshoot issues and exercise discretion when management support may be necessary to resolve an issue
- Perform trade diligence on processes and parties, including defining and implementing risk mitigation and compliance enhancement measures
- Draft, communicate and disseminate updates, policies, procedures as needed
- Produce high-quality deliverables efficiently, following Salesforce’s best practices, templates and guidelines

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum 5 years of experience in ethics and compliance in a cross-functional team environment to develop and drive processes that enhance trade compliance
- Demonstrated success independently managing workload and priorities with limited oversight
- Demonstrated ability to proactively troubleshoot issues and exercise discretion when management support is necessary to resolve an issue
- Exceptional organizational skills
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a high degree of attention to detail
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

- Familiarity with trade compliance issues
- MBA
- Trade Compliance Certification
- Proficiency with Salesforce and Tableau products
