Operational Project Manager

Robert Half is seeking a Project Manager to be responsible for the successful management of large, complex projects. They will partner with cross-functional teams to define, scope, plan, execute and deliver both products and related services on time and within expected goals. The Project Manager will manage all aspects of new and existing projects from start to finish and be the single point of contact for all project activities, schedule and status. The Project Manager will be responsible for multiple projects at one time, across various programs, with varying degrees of scope.

This position will require strong coordination between Corporate and Field to ensure successful delivery for our customers. They will have to understand field operations, hierarchy, and how these programs and projects impact field operations. This role will make recommendations based upon analysis and summarizes program information (metrics, feedback, etc.) and makes recommendations for program improvement as appropriate. This role requires strong technical and collaboration skills.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

- Research, develop, and execute small to large scale projects/initiatives that support various groups, considering impacted audience(s.)
- Based on analysis of project requirements/criteria: develop, strategize, design, plan, and execute all aspects of assigned projects.
- Coordinate and lead meetings and communication with various cross-functional departments and field leadership.
- Coordinate and develops communications strategy for delivery to the applicable audience.
- Review with both internal/external platform partners to mitigate any risks, overcome obstacles, and escalate issues as necessary.
- Work closely with partners, cross functional teams, field management, corporate teams to ensure appropriate levels of stakeholder engagement, collaboration, and communication takes place to guarantee successful and seamless project implementations.
- Create a tracking method to capture milestones and adjust project plans and or resources to meet the needs of the program.
- Lead project meetings and manage and execute project deliverables and deadlines independently.
- Listen carefully to customers in order to develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Ensure appropriate teams and departments are appraised of project roll out or changes to programs.
- Identify milestones, create program plan, create KPI’s, analyze impact of project rollout, adjust as necessary.
- Create, manage and update process and program documentation and any necessary supporting tools/resources.
- Create and update process flow diagrams or flowcharts that demonstrate business or system process flow
- Identify trends and report on metrics and deliverables, and impact of project rollout. Make any post-project adjustments as necessary. Document learnings for next time.
- Prepare and deliver executive management updates.
- Understand and communicate technical information to non-technical users.
- Oversee project or program related activities executed by other departments and employees to ensure deadlines are met.
- Proactively seek feedback from customers to identify improvement opportunities.
- Independently own and manage multiple projects.
- Act as SME providing consultation and oversight to project.
- Manage project conflicts, detect and solve issues effectively with the stakeholders.
- Compile and analyze information such as metrics and feedback in order to make recommendations to senior management for program improvement and efficiencies.
- Create and and execute communication plans, delivering updates/provide direction to various teams

Qualifications:

- 5+ years of experience in project and/or program management
- Strong reporting and data analysis experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with a high capacity for work output
- Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments - both internally and externally
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements/efficiencies in a program/project
- Experience in a large corporate environment or within a service organization with multiple international branch/field locations.
- Desire and ability to learn new skills and continue professional and personal development.
- Ability to adapt existing project management experience and skills to our work culture.
- Previous program or project management experience required.
- Customer service experience required.
- Ability to communicate and effectively across all levels in the organizations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams).
