**What this role looks like**:

- Set up the first Topsort in-person office in Chile so our engineers can have a place to work out of and maintain the day to day
- Managing the HR details of the global and remote team, including Payroll, Benefits;
- Fluent in HR softwares such as Rippling and Buk or willingness to learn;
- Build out the HR tech stack;
- You'll lead the Operations team, and have junior team members reporting to you;
- Manage communications around onboarding, recruiting, team activities, reimbursement, and holidays.
- Create a lot of team activities, such as team dinners, online events or in person offsites
- Maintain a high level of work ethic and integrity, strong EQ and IQ.

**Responsibilities**:

- Craft an employee experience that exudes warmth. Ensure that employees are taken care of in the moments that matter most (both the highs and the lows)
- New hire onboarding - background checks, benefits orientation, and ensure all new employees feel included and have the tools and resources they need to excel at Topsort
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations, maintaining employee files, etc
- Employee off-boarding - separation paperwork and process
- Execute monthly compensation review process
- Recruiting both inbound and outbound and work with hiring managers

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of HR experience in fields such as process and operations, employee relations, cross-functional partnership with leaders, and exposure to diversity/inclusion initiatives
- Having scaled an organization and helped set up operations
- Love connecting with employees and have proven ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization
- Highly adaptable, organized person, able to work autonomously, and will thrive in a rapidly changing, fast-paced environment
- Growth mindset, self-starter, embody the Topsort culture
- Effective, empathetic, clear written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Bonus point if you speak multiple langugage or can travel
