If you are looking for a fast-paced environment where you learn to make a difference, work with intelligent and kind peers, look no further. **Job functions**: - Set up our first in-person office and operations in Chile. Today we have a remote team of developers in Chile and we want to start an office where team members can come to work out of. - Managing the HR details of the global and remote team, including Payroll, - Fluent in HR softwares such as Rippling and Buk or willingness to learn - Build out the HR techstack, - You'll lead the Operations team, and have junior team members reporting to you. - Manage communications around onboarding, recruiting, team activities, reimbursement, and holidays. - Create a lot of team activities, such as team dinners, online events or in person offsites - Maintain a high level of work ethic and integrity, strong EQ and IQ. **Qualifications and requirements**: - 5+ years managing HR and Operations, ideally in a scale-up startup - MBA or a Top school Bachelors - Experience with Chilean and other Latin American countries regarding employment practices, taxation, and finance - Strong communication in both English and Spanish - Ability to have "difficult conversations", stakeholder dynamics, and HR conversations - Locate in Santiago, Chile; willingness to travel occasionally to visit other members internationally - Thrive under pressure and love challenges, strong self-starter attitude, relentless drive to grow **Conditions**: **Equity offered **This position includes equity compensation (in the form of stock options or another mechanism).**Internal talks **Topsort offers space for internal talks or presentations during working hours.**Paid sick days **Sick leave is compensated (limits might apply).**Partially remote **You can work from your home some days a week.**Computer repairs **Topsort covers some computer repair expenses.**Computer provided **Topsort provides a computer for your work.**Remote work policy**: **Hybrid** This job takes place some days from home and others at the office.
