Looking for an exciting opportunity to build and lead a sales team in Santiago, Chile, and become a part of DNA testing industry?

GenePlanet, EU based biotech company, a global leader in the field of preventive genetic tests; specializing in NIPT, cancer screening, and lifestyle DNA tests, is looking for an ambitious Market entry consultant or Country Manager to develop (and lead) our local operations in the market. With a presence in 35+ markets worldwide and a passionate team of over 150 employees, GenePlanet collaborates with over 2.000 medical centers, doctors, and insurance companies to provide top-quality tests based on the latest scientific discoveries. Our tests are designed to empower individuals to take control of their and their baby's health, as well as assist doctors with therapeutic procedures.

We're seeking a hands-on, self-driven, energetic, and results-oriented professional to join our team to start developing the sales infrastructure for NIPT (Non-Invasive Prenatal Test) operations.

Tasks

You will play a critical role in driving the success of GenePlanet's local business for medical genetic testing. Your key responsibilities will include:

- Collaborating with the HQ team to set up and develop GenePlanet's local business, while implementing a longer-term growth strategy
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with local business partners, including clinics, medical laboratories, and gynecologists, to grow the local network and promote GenePlanet's products and services
- Implementation of product promotional activities
- Identifying and developing Key Opinion Leaders to further support our mission and promote GenePlanet's products and services in Chile
- Continuously monitoring the competitive landscape and proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market
- Conducting trainings and educational activities for external partners to have a strong understanding of GenePlanet's products and services, especially those in the field of gynecology, obstetrician, IVF, and oncology

**Requirements**:

- A medical background and working experience in the fields of gynecology and obstetrics, knowing filed of laboratory sales is a plus
- In-depth knowledge of the local healthcare industry, particularly in the private healthcare sector
- Excellent selling, networking, and negotiation skills to help build strong business relationships with local partners
- Proficiency in English is a must, and any additional language skills would be a plus

**Having the following qualifications would be an advantage**:

- A higher education degree in biotechnology, biology, medicine, biochemistry, or microbiology
- Experience in setting up new businesses and launching new products
- Knowledge of the local NIPT market and competitive products, which would help to inform our long-term growth strategy
- A personal network of local gynecologists or laboratories, which would enable you to build relationships with key stakeholders in the market and further promote GenePlanet's products and services
