**Vice President - LATAM** - South America**

We are working with a global client who are technology innovators dedicated to making the underground mining industry safer and more efficient. We are currently looking for a VP USA & Canada to help them accelerate the evolution of mining, they will need to be entrepreneurial and have a passion for technology and be based anywhere across LATAM.

This Vice President - LATAM will report directly to the CEO and be responsible for leading, coordinating, managing, and optimizing the sales, services and front-line remote support activities across LATAM.

Key functions for this Vice President - LATAM are:

- Leading both business development and account management activities, to ensure a healthy pipeline of opportunities for the current and next fiscal year.
- Reviewing and monitoring sales and service performance, and refine strategies as required.
- Creating and executing Go-To-Market strategies and be accountable for commercial agreement relationships with channel / distribution partners.
- Working closely with the management team to set business strategies.
- Working closely with marketing counterparts and creating collaborative environment for enhancing sales and service growth.
- Managing, leading and developing a multidisciplinary team for the region including sales and technical services.
- Developing the organization and adapting to market needs and strategies.
- Acting as the Managing Director of the company's local legal entity.
- Accountable for the region's business planning, budgeting, forecasting and following up of the Financial KPIs with HQ (Volumes, Gross margins, OPEX and New working Capital).
- Setting regional pricing for deployment services and on-site support.
- Establishing local supplier network for consumables (ex: hydraulic fittings, installation accessories, bracket manufacturers, etc.).
- Ensuring compliance with company safety policies and applicable government, customer or industry regulations or requirements.

Essential requirements are:

- A minimum of 10 years' commercial experience within the mining industry with a focus on underground mining equipment, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
- Experience growing and leading a sales and service team.
- A strong understanding of the underground mining industry and the technology used.
- Business acumen, entrepreneurial spirit, and strong sense of ownership.
