**The Team**We are defining the next generation of trusted enterprise computing in the cloud. We're a fast-paced, metrics-driven team. We're highly collaborative and work across all areas of our technology stack. We live and breathe transactional systems, distributed systems, and enterprise reliability, availability, and scale.

**Desired Skills and Experience**The team is seeking a highly qualified and energetic Director / Senior Director who will be responsible for driving and executing our vision and for managing and leading a team of exceptional developers working on data analytics and observability layers of the Salesforce Transactional and Distributed Storage Systems. Desired skills:

- Lead teams delivering data analytics for very large datasets in enterprise production environments
- Excellent understanding of an ML-based product lifecycle
- Drive the execution and delivery of features by collaborating with many cross-functional teams, architects, product owners, engineers and data scientists
- Vocally advocating for technical excellence and helping the teams make good decisions
- Inventive and creative; on task and able to deliver incrementally and on time
- Familiar with Agile development methodology and committed to continuous improvement of team performance
- Effective communication, strong leadership skills, ability to dive deep into the technical details
- Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment; communicate clearly to steer a talented team to deliver high quality service
- Experience in building strong, successful technical teams, coaching and mentoring individuals along their career paths
- Maintaining and fostering our culture by interviewing and hiring only the most qualified individuals

**Qualifications**:

- MS or higher degree in Computer Science
- 10+ years in managing software development teams of at least 10 engineers working on customer-facing enterprise product
- Strong technical credentials in software development, in particular in areas such as advanced analytics, data science, data engineering and automation using advanced machine learning techniques
- Proven track record of delivering and supporting large scale enterprise products and services in Public Cloud
