Working as a Service Project Specialist, you will be the support person for various services engineering projects in the Process Automation Business in Chile, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
**This position reports to**:
Service Team Leader
**Your responsibilities**:
- Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors and vendors.
- Assisting contract managers with claims, customer specifications and safety standards.
- Creating and delivering the work plan and budget, as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline.
- Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites in Chile.
- Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.
- Conducts analysis of plan versus actual project performance under the supervision of the Project Manager or Project Planning & Controls Manager.
- Prepares materials for and assists in project reviews.
- Updates project (cost) adjustments, approved by the Project Manager and Controller, in SAP or other Project Controls systems.
- Monitors, controls, and releases requests for invoicing, based on instructions from the Project Manager.
- Works with the project manager and customer to ensure on time and on budget delivery.
- Works with account team to optimize the delivery of the solution.
**Your background**:
- Bachelor´s degree in Automation, Electronics or Electricity Engineering.
- Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes and tools.
- To have knowledge and experience with SCADA and PLC Systems. Also, with cyber Security.
- Any experience with Automation System is necessary.
- To have a Good performance working with a team and with customers.
- A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity and desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach, and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Advanced English.
- Availability to travel
