**About the Role**:
The Uber Mobility General Manager is an outstanding opportunity to build and lead Uber’s business across Chile; one of the company’s most meaningful markets in the region. As the leader of Uber Mobility, you will be responsible for the development and growth of the business
You'll be developing and rolling out our mobility ecosystem in Chile. To accomplish this mission, we need someone who has that mix of operational abilities to get stuff done, the grit and motivation that's needed to partner closely with our cross-functional teams and other lines of business, the innovation and creative thinking to develop solutions in a highly multifaceted industry, and the emotional intelligence to lead our team.
**About the Team**:
- Based in Santiago, the Chilean team is composed of smart, resilient and hard-working individuals. The team is responsible for running the day-to-day operations, incubating and launching new products, maintaining high safety and quality standards so that thousands of connections can occur successfully every day, as we strive to be the operating system of everyday life for millions of people in the country
**What You’ll Do**:
- Lead our Mobility Ops organization in Chile to drive the strategy for the markets
- Build and develop positive relationships with senior cross-functional leaders (e.g., Central Ops, Strategy & Planning, Marketing, People, Customer Support, Product, Government Affairs, and more) in order to efficiently drive the long-term growth and sustainability strategies in the territories
- Be the spokesperson, leading relationships with key opinion leaders, high government officials, high level business partners, and of course, with users and earners
- Help scale our platform and grow our business with Eats and Cornershop
- Develop the next generation of leaders at Uber
**What You’ll Need**:
- 10+ years of proven experience in General Management, consulting, investment banking or operations management; experience leading large teams
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- A data-driven decision approach and sound business judgment
- A creative, solutions focused approach, and a strong results orientation mentality
- An entrepreneurial DNA
- Hustling mentality and resilience to navigate the challenges of the operation in the countries
- Proven experience in cross-functional work
- Stellar networking and teamwork skills and the ability to make smart partnerships happen
