We are looking for a
Data Risk and Trust Specialist/Leader
who will physically work in Chile but will work for the Canadian Deloitte firm. We need someone with
advanced English skills who will communicate and work with Canadian colleagues and clients,
who is effective at identifying, assessing, and managing data risk.

Data Risk and Trust, comprised of privacy, confidentiality, AI, data governance, and information and records management, supports Deloitte in its management and responsible use of data. Data Risk and Trust does this by interpreting client contracts, privacy legislation, professional standards, industry requirements, and internal policies to understand the data management requirements that apply to Deloitte, and then to manage data throughout the data lifecycle. Data Risk and Trust does this by engaging with all parts of the Deloitte business. Regular activities include, but are not limited to, managing a data incident response process, performing assessments on new technologies, negotiating contracts, implementing training and awareness campaigns, self-assessing for control effectiveness, and more.

Among the main functions are

• Lead the assessment of newly built or procured technologies to ensure all data risks are appropriately managed – including privacy, confidentiality, AI, data governance, and more
• Lead the negotiation of third-party agreements to ensure data risks are managed in the third-party risk management processes
• Drafting privacy notices, consents, and statements
• Designing data management policies, procedures, and standards to help manage data risk across Deloitte
• Supporting data exfiltration monitoring and data incident management processes
• Lead the development and execution of training and guidance materials to educate Deloitte professionals on data risk management strategies
• Analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and risks, and to produce reporting on such data to various levels of leadership
• Work with Chilean colleagues to ensure process alignment
• Support other ad hoc Data Risk and Trust requests, as required

Experience required

• Advanced command of the English language
• French is an asset
• Work experience preferably in the areas of compliance or risk management, law, ethics, or AI
• Knowledge of emerging technologies, encryption, AI, and other technological concepts
• Strong attention to detail, precision, and analytical
• Strong verbal and written communicator
• High commitment to quality, ethics, and confidentiality
• Excellent interpersonal skills for multicultural teamwork, in person and remotely
• Creative problem solver and curious learner
• Ability to work under presume in dynamic and changing scenarios
