Business Development Director

The Commercial Sales Manager will play a key role in driving revenue and business growth across Iron Mountain's emerging portfolio of technology products and services.
Reporting to the Commercial Director, this individual will be responsible for developing and delivering a commercialization strategy that aligns with company objectives.
This includes managing the sales team to deliver on revenue and growth goals, as well as identifying opportunities for revenue growth and enhancing existing offerings.
A successful candidate will have a strong understanding of customer needs, technology, and competitor offerings, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Define sales tactics aligned with company strategies
- Lead strategic business development and make recommendations on major business decisions within the market
- Achieve sales targets, market share, and new logos with the sales team
- Lead and mentor a multifunctional sales team to ensure group targets are achieved
Requirements
This role requires a proven sales leader with 10+ years of experience in a data-driven business or SaaS company. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent and an MBA preferred.
A strong attention to data and sales tracking is essential, along with experience interpreting market trends, customer needs, and various delivery models.
The ability to influence others without formal authority, build consensus for a plan of action, and ensure alignment is also crucial.
