About the Role
SAP is seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Software Services Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within assigned accounts.
Job Description
The Enterprise Software Services Account Manager will be accountable for booking and revenue targets for assigned accounts. You will originate and manage opportunities and bids, deal closure through formal sales cycles, and shape deals that are compliant with agreed governance processes, controls, and targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development: Develop and deliver best-practice comprehensive services account plans to address customer and prospect priorities and pain points.
- Commercial Accountability: Be accountable for all services commercial aspects in assigned accounts, including ensuring contracts are in place and teams can successfully mobilize per contract obligations.
- Service Delivery Management: Ensure seamless handovers from sales to delivery, supporting delivery teams engaged in delivering against existing contracts.
Requirements
- Experience: 5+ years direct quota-carrying selling experience of services in the enterprise software industry.
- Skills: Proven track record in value selling and solution selling, intimate knowledge of enterprise software projects, and ability to drive opportunity development and accurate forecasting.
- Educational Background: Bachelor or Master's Degree (MBA advantageous).
