Job Title: Senior Banking Application Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Banking Application Specialist to join our team at Evalueserve. As a key member of our banking application support team, you will be responsible for providing expert-level support to our clients, leveraging your extensive knowledge of banking applications and domain expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide application support for end users of banking applications
* Act as SME for banking applications
* Test, improve, and debug different apps
* Provide support on US business hours with flexible scheduling for events happening off business hours or weekends/holidays
* Create and maintain documentation (workflows, procedures, user guides, forms) updated on different platforms

Requirements:

* 6+ years of relevant work experience
* Advanced communication skills in English
* Continuous learning orientation to get familiar with standard and customized applications
* SQL knowledge to understand underlying data from application and conduct data quality verifications related to issues or data maintenance required
* Knowledge on banking domain and experience with credit and loan products such as being familiar with how expected credit loss/PDs/LGDs work, terms like RORA, Capital cost, RWA, exposure mean, etc
* Knowledge of Tidal or similar platforms that allow to automate jobs
* Linux/Unix knowledge to edit/verify jobs, scripts, servers, request restarts,...
* Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail to translate requirements into actionable solutions, while maintaining a view of the bigger picture
* Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize and handle multiple work streams and able to work under pressure
* Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills, with ability to operate independently but knowing when to escalate
* Stakeholder management skills
