Key Responsibilities- Provide technical support and advice to the Nuton technical team in engagement with partners and evaluation of technology viability.
- Develop and coordinate technical work programs, including resource evaluation, laboratory and on-site test work, and engineering design.
- Collaborate with the Nuton Technology Transfer team to manage the transfer of technology and know-how to Escondida and their engineering service providers.
- Monitor the application of Nuton technology at sites and maintain the integrity of our intellectual property and know-how.
- Drive a deep understanding of the interplay of control parameters to optimize heap or column design and operation.
- Troubleshoot operational activities and suggest changes to programs.
- Deliver operational readiness scope for Nuton, including technical manuals and onsite training.
- Provide technical support for commissioning, start-up, and performance guarantee testing.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science (GeoMetallurgy, Metallurgy, Chemical, Mechanical, Mining, or related field).
- 7-10 years of experience in technical operational heap leaching expertise, with a strong background in bio-heap leaching.
- Data acquisition and results analysis experience.
- Project experience with ability to review deliverables and track/supervise activities.
- Proven experience with stakeholders/clients and technical report writing.
- Ability to travel to sites.
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
- High-level fluency in English and native Spanish.
