Job Title: QA Automation Specialist

Responsibilities and Assignments:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to ensure the functionality and quality of software products.
  • Identify, document, and track software defects and problems, and work closely with developers to resolve them.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements and design test cases accordingly.
  • Perform functional testing to verify that software meets specified requirements and functions as expected.
  • Perform regression testing to ensure that changes and improvements to software do not negatively impact existing functionality.
  • Participate in the design and implementation of automated testing frameworks and tools.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing and quality control.
  • Provide timely and accurate reports on test progress, test coverage, and defect metrics to project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other team members to prioritize and manage testing efforts.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a QA Tester Functional or similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with functional testing, regression testing, and automated testing.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies and tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Certification ISTQB is an advantage.
