Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Wind Turbine Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our wind turbines.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the technical escalation path and respond to activities carried out at the facilities.
  • Enforce a focus on safe work practices.
  • Analyze causes of wind turbine shutdowns, identify root causes, and implement solutions.
  • Manage action plans for technical aspects as applicable.
  • Ensure that operations are carried out in a productive and safe manner that guarantees the profitability of contracts while fulfilling contractual agreements with clients.

Requirements

  • Support the Technical Escalation process, responsible for tracking and escalating unscheduled incidents at wind farms.
  • Identify wind turbines or platforms with consistent faults based on information received from clients.
  • Operate remote control or WindOne, assign activities to technical personnel, and take into account contracts with clients.
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve the servicing of wind farms.
  • Support interface with Aftermarket Sales and undertake special activities, in person and/or remotely.
  • Project management of small to medium projects related to fleet improvements and integrity.
  • Subject Matter Expert on Case Management in Service, monitoring and managing cases in applicable systems.
  • Support training of project roles in Case Management Process and utilization of respective systems.
  • Contribute to a continuous focus on improving project Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality Management.
  • Responsible for the daily Wind Turbine Down report and Focal Point of their area at Wind Turbine Down meetings.
