Job Description

This role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of our wind turbines. As a Renewable Energy Technical Specialist - Wind Turbine Operations, you will be responsible for coordinating technical escalations, managing action plans, and analyzing causes of turbine shutdowns. Your goal will be to ensure that operations are carried out safely and efficiently, while also fulfilling contractual agreements with clients.



Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate technical escalation processes, including tracking and escalating unscheduled incidents at wind farms
  • Identify wind turbines or platforms with consistent faults based on information received from clients
  • Manage action plans for technical aspects, including modifications and upgrades on existing projects
  • Analyze causes of wind turbine shutdowns and implement solutions
  • Operate as an extension of the Service Operations Manager on technical issues, interacting with customers and other stakeholders as necessary
  • Lead strategic initiatives to improve servicing of wind farms
  • Support Aftermarket Sales and undertake special activities, in person and/or remotely
  • Project manage small to medium projects related to fleet improvements and integrity
  • Subject Matter Expert on Case Management in Service, monitoring and managing cases in applicable systems
  • Train project roles in Case Management Process and utilization of respective systems
  • Manage daily Wind Turbine Down reports and focal point of area at Wind Turbine Down meetings
  • Provide technical assistance to Maintenance Teams


Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:



  • Background in Maintenance Engineering, Reliability Management, or Lean
  • Desirable skills: Wind Background, English level proficiency
