About the Opportunity

We are excited to offer a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Business Development Representative to join our team at Genesys. As a Business Development Representative, you will have the opportunity to drive business growth by generating quality new business pipeline for the sales force through outbound efforts.

Responsibilities

  1. Generating New Business Pipeline: Generate quality new business pipeline for the sales force through outbound efforts.
  2. Building Relationships: Build rapport with contacts by offering resources and understanding where the prospect is in the buying process.
  3. Transforming Leads: Transform Marketing leads to sales opportunities that meet a minimum qualification criterion (BANT), by educating and challenging prospective buyers.
  4. Partnering with Sales: Partner with field sales representatives on targeting account planning and competitive strategies.
  5. Outbound Prospecting: Engage in outbound prospecting including cold calling and leveraging intent data to generate interest.
  6. Lead Management: Assist in live inbound chats and phone calls and follow-up via phone and email on leads from web, events, email campaigns, etc.; ask for referrals.
  7. Database Accuracy: Follow best practices for maintaining Salesforce.com database accuracy and completeness by updating records regularly.
  8. Buying Personas: Expand on key buying personas and units in target companies (via internal and external subscription databases, LinkedIn, etc.).
  9. Social Media Engagement: Engage with social media channels to effectively build relationships and interact with prospects and customers.
