Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Specialist to join our team at ZipRecruiter. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences by preparing high-quality food and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Prepare foods accurately and to specification, ensuring recipe integrity while adhering to proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers, answering questions, and recommending menu items.
  • Store Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including the food service area, equipment, and inventory.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve sales goals, manage inventory, and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Previous retail experience preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to multitask, and problem-solving skills.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position requiring flexibility to work all shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. The physical demands of this role include standing for prolonged periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to cleaning solvents.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $35,000-$45,000, depending on location and experience.
