**Sobre el rol**

Como Gerente de Comunicaciones para Escondida, apoyarás la gestión de la estrategia global, el marco y la implementación de las comunicaciones necesarias para proteger y mejorar la reputación de Escondida BHP, gestionar el riesgo y contribuir a la creación de valor social.

Este rol de Comunicaciones requiere un perfil altamente experimentado y de nível senior, encargado de liderar un equipo responsable de las comunicaciones de Escondida, reportando al Head of Corporate Affairs de Escondida BHP y asegurando la consistencia de la comunicación de BHP Minerals America.

Tus responsabilidades:

- Coordinar el equipo a cargo del diseño e implementación de las estrategias y planes de comunicación internas y externas de Escondida BHP.
- Coordinarse con Comunicaciones Corporativas para asegurar la coherencia y sinergias de las comunicaciones a nível de operación de Escondida BHP con las comunicaciones de BHP a nível de región y apoyar la implementación de la campaña de marca global de BHP en la Región.
- Asesorar al Head of Corporate Affairs y coordinarse con equipo de Comunidades y Gobierno e Inversión Social para el apoyo en el posicionamiento de Escondida, el relacionamiento con stakeholders y el despliegue de la estrategia de inversión social.
- Asesorar en las comunicaciones al Presidente y líderes senior en Escondida.
- Asegurar la coordinación y colaboración con Comunicaciones BHP Minerals America y Australia.
- Administrar presupuesto y recursos de apoyo del área con criterios de eficiencia.
- Incorporar y mejorar continuamente la forma de trabajo de los equipos de Comunicaciones de Escondida.
- Asesorar y desplegar las comunicaciones ante contingencias, emergencias y crisis.
- Coordinar la entrega de contenido externo e interno, incluyendo discursos y presentaciones, para líderes senior en la cartera.
- Supervisar la estrategia y el contenido de las redes sociales del activo en asociación con el equipo Digital de BHP.

- Fuerte capacidad de liderazgo de personas: capacidad para motivar, impulsar y conectar.
- Experiência senior en comunicaciones o campo relacionado.
- Capacidad para alinear estrategias y tácticas locales con estrategias de comunicaciones regionales y de toda la empresa.
- Demostrar experiência en una amplia gama de competencias de comunicaciones, incluyendo comunicaciones de liderazgo, comunicaciones internas, medios de comunicación, comunicaciones digitales y asuntos corporativos.
- Habilidades superiores de gestión de problemas y gestión de crisis.
- Fuertes habilidades analíticas y de resolución de problemas.
- Altos níveles de integridad y discreción en el manejo de temas sensibles.
- Capacidad demostrada para interactuar efectivamente con líderes senior.
- Experiência trabajando en el sector de recursos o energía preferido, pero no esencial.
- Conocimiento de la Región de Antofagasta, altamente preferido, pero no esencial.
