Payroll Global Process Owner

**About the role**:
Our global accounting team is growing organically and strategically. In this role you will be the bridge between accounting and payroll functions, providing support to both and ensuring smooth run of operations, strong process ownership. This is a role that will empower you to be creative in implementations and optimisations, and showcase what good looks like in the world of procedures. You will be our important and highly valued partner and be encouraged to design bold solutions as such.
**What you'll do**:
- Partner with Payroll function team and internal stakeholders to ensure high quality on deliverables and handle employee and countries specific payroll issues;
- Develop strategy collaboratively and establishes policy of a global nature for the organization's Payroll accounting and Internal control activities;
- You will dive/support process improvement initiatives within the area (Automation, AI, Robotics, etc.);
- Analyze, develop new and adjust existing end to end processes/ services, standards or operational plans, and deliver results with direct impact on Payroll accounting process;
- Ensure the area stays abreast of current accounting, business process trends, and leading practices occurring in the industry to inform strategic direction and process enhancement;
- You lead M&A integration activities for Payroll accounting;
- Ensures accurate historical records and accounting ledgers
- Participate in establishing and maintaining relevant policies/guidelines
- Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure timely compliance
**You'll be great for this role if**:
- You have a Bachelor's degree (BA) or Master in Accounting/Finance is required
- _3+ years experience in processing payroll, 5+ years general accounting experience_
- You possess ability to critically assesses processes and implement improvements and automations of routine operations
- You bring solid project management skills
- You have strong communication skills
- You have a proven capability of managing relationships and collaborations
- You own advanced knowledge in SAP or other ERP systems
- You bring advanced knowledge in taxation in personal taxes area
- _A strong IFRS knowledge, qualified accountant certification (CPA/ACCA/CIMA etc.) will be considered as advantage_
- Fluent English, both written and spoken
