**About the role**

You will lead program definition and execution cross-functionally with merchandising ops, marketing, operations, product, Legal and Sales, and supervise the online grocery industry, providing thought leadership and innovation while offering ownership and autonomy over your work as we exponentially grow this new arm of the Uber Delivery business.

**What you'll do**
- Partner with cross functional teams to build a compelling, local app experience online through merchandise presentation (product pages, landing pages, new UX)
- Ongoing interpretation of qualitative inputs + assessment (e.g audits + driven analyses)
- Proactively define engaging content strategies across channels
- Establish and leverage collaborative relationships with merchants and partner collaborators
- Be a strong thought partner with Product to creatively solution and influence roadmap
- Establish digital merchandising expertise within the organization by developing standard methodologies that drive operational excellence across the consumer journey
- Build customer-centric and product driven selection & site merchandising program strategies
- Identify and recommend optimizations for program execution based on customer insights, customer feedback, and assessment of business results
- Partners with key teams in Marketing, Sales, Operations, and Product to assess impact and gain alignment with broader business goals
- Leads program execution for large-scale programs across all New verticals including:

- Strategy: Build business plans to operate effectively for business efficiency and user experience.
- Advise New Vertical's leadership on long-term strategy and decision making by defining critical metrics, developing dashboards, and providing strategic insights.
- Data analysis: design, implement and automate processes to run and optimize the business performance and reliability.
- Experimentation: perform analysis and experiments, proactively find opportunities for performance improvement and find growth opportunities for the New Verticals business
- Partner management: Orchestrate and bring together the work of a wide range of cross-functional partners including Operations, Product, Finance, Account Management, Support, Policy, Communications and Legal while driving accountability to ensure objectives are met
- Ownership: identify, scope, and recommend a solution, then take ownership for delivering on the project and the outcomes, as well as keeping leadership advised of progress
- Work with Product teams to guide the development of our solutions based on business and customer needs. Project manage cross-functional work streams for key Product roll-outs across New Verticals.

**What you'll need**
- 5+ years of experience in an e-commerce, merchandising, category management or product marketing role
- Strong collaboration and partner management - building deep, trust-based relationships with critical teams.
- Experience managing cross-functional relationships across Product Management, Marketing, Merchants and Sales partners.
- A process creator with a proven track record of leading initiatives and projects at your organization that drive positive impact for your business
- Experience working in a fast paced environment with a customer-first approach and can thrive in ambiguity
- Unparalleled business judgment and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to quickly develop strategies and make decisions.
- Excellent Excel / GSheets skills are key
- We would love experience with SQL
