**Your Role and Responsibilities**
- Work closely with the PO to design solutions that meet business requirements.
- Translate business and technical requirements into an architectural design that meets the organization's guidelines and standards.
- Performs a survey of the current situation and defines the high-level design of new systems and/or modifications to existing systems, in line with current policies, standards and guidelines, making use of the architecture patterns defined for this purpose.
- Work in sync with the transversal architects (data, infrastructure and security) to define details of data modeling, platform and security components required to implement the designed solution.
- Manage the life cycle of APIs and Services.
**Required Technical and Professional Expertise**
- In-depth knowledge of modern programming languages and frameworks, React.js, Scala, native app frameworks (iOS, Android) and backend languages (eg Java, Akka).
- Extensive experience with the latest ECMAScript features, state management libraries, and test-driven development. Experience with distributed systems (microservices, RESTful public APIs, GraphQL, SSO/OAuth2).
- Experience in API design first and migrations to the public cloud. Ability to express complex technical matters in easy-to-understand language.
- Proven drive for simplification and maximum customer orientation.
- Willingness and desire to collaborate in cross-functional teams.
**Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise**
- +5 years of experience in engineering and technology roles working with agile product development teams and building digital products or digital/multi-channel architecture with a dedicated focus on commerce value chains.
