**Job Description**:
The role will be responsible for business development in acquiring. Working closely with acquirers, processors, third party agents and merchants. The role also has to coordinate with VISA’s internal resources (Operations, Systems, Products, Marketing, Risk, Finance, etc.).

The position requires a strategic mindset and a creative and innovative approach on a day to day interactions within the organization and with clients.

Position will be located at the Visa office in Santiago, Chile.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage the relationship with acquirers
- Understand and deeply know the client's business structure, segments and strategies to identify the areas where Visa can add value resulting in increased revenues for both parties
- Add value to acquirers through the set of products and services available for the market
- Participate in the definition and implementation of the MS&A Strategy in Chile
- Ensure coordination with internal teams for the execution of required activities
- Manage the budget assigned
- Create and identify new business opportunities
- Excellent business relationship management
- Identify, recommend and implement business alliances to improve clients' results
- Monitor competitors' activities and market penetration
- Responsible of successfully launching new products within his/her clients
- Deep understanding on Digital payments landscape, including new technologies and abilities to develop innovation road maps with clients.
- Analyze market data and interact with other market teams to identify new opportunities

**Reporting Relationships & Interactions**
- Position will report to Acquiring Director in Chile
- He/she will interact internally mainly with Sales, Products and Marketing and MS&A Regional and Global teams
- Externally the position will interact with several stakeholders, including acquiring clients, merchants and Third Party Agents.
- Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance including P&L responsibility
- Sales and/or Industry Management experience
- Business planning and project management skills
- Ability to identify key strategic issues and to generate and deliver creative and innovative solutions to problems and opportunities
- Ability to multi-task numerous projects concurrently
- Ability to manage & grow internal and external resources and cross functional relationships
- Understanding of Merchant Acquiring business in particular

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.

**Qualifications**:
Knowledge Required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in retail or payments industry preferable
- Fluent in English
- Ability to communicate at all levels within large organizations
- Excellent presentation skills

Experience & Education Required
- Bachelor’s Degree “business/ economic”
- MBA desirable
