Job Details

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Responsible for acquiring, retaining, and growing prospects/customers with complex logistics service requirements.
  2. Research potential customers and qualified contacts independently.
  3. Generate the first contact with potential customers.
  4. Plan customer visits and create a plan of action.
  5. Visit current and potential customers and carry out sales conversations with the goal of obtaining new & cross sales.
  6. Create sales presentations for potential customers.
  7. Complete follow-up on potential customers for all new sales.
  8. Maintain current market data on competition and forward observations to RSMD and/or CM.
  9. In conjunction with management, decide special discounts or tariffs for customers.
  10. Accept queries from customers and write offers with the support of Operations/Customer Service.
  11. Maintain accurate records on World Courier's CRM regarding customer interactions.
  12. Responsible for disciplined reporting of travel & entertainment expenses to the manager in the company's system.
  13. Analyze sales statistics and present them to RSMD and/or CM.
  14. Handle contracts with customers, aligned with the Legal Department and CM.
  15. Attend sales meetings as well as training and schooling.
  16. Represent the corporation at trade fairs and conventions.
  17. Stay informed regarding the newest developments in the market and new products or services of the company as well as of the competition.
  18. Be available for national and international business trips, if applicable.

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Education: University education.
  2. 3 - 5 years of experience in a pharmaceutical supply chain sales environment, including Operations Management (Outbound, inbound, distribution & packaging).
  3. Extensive knowledge of biotechnology sales environment, biologics industry, related procedures, regulations, and standards, as well as quality programs is highly desired.
  4. Detailed GMP, GSP, GDP, and GCP expertise.
  5. Knowledge of business theory, processes, management, budgeting, and office operations.
  6. Soft Skills: Good interpersonal skills, analytical and critical thinking skills, leadership, self-starter, familiarity with software (Office, Salesforce.com, etc.), and good communication.
