NSPS is an Operations & Maintenance (O&M) company with leadership that has over 20 years of experience and manages over 20GW of Solar PV Plants globally.

NovaSource has the leadership, global reach, and strategic capability to lead the market in this category of technical services both globally and throughout Australia. Through our range of services, our capabilities are structured to optimize every stage of a project lifecycle - from design, construction supervision, commissioning, re-vamping, re-powering, and third-party services with the goal of maximizing performance.

**About this role**

The role of the Country Manager Chile involves a variety of tasks and skills. These include providing guidance, leadership and support to the operations of services provided in the country, continuing to create and expand services and exceeding KPIs and expectations. The Country Manager will work closely with the company's different functional and business leaders in different regions to strategize on how best to improve service delivery to our internal and external customers and how to profitably utilize the Business Support Group.

**Main Responsibilities**:

- Take decisions that are financially responsible, justifiable, and defensible in accordance with the organization's policies and procedures
- Manage budgets according to the company's strategy
- Coordinate the annual budget planning process and oversee the long-term budget
- Provide a strong leadership presence
- Develop and foster a productive work environment
- Oversee recruitment, hiring, compensation, performance management and retention strategies.
- Oversee regulations and compliance with local laws
- Ensure quality standards
- Lead the execution of company's policies and coordinate activities aimed at meeting the objectives of business growth and profitability
- Negotiate with suppliers and service providers necessary to maintain local operations and facilities
- Supervise the administrative functions of the office and staff; Ensure smooth day-to-day operations of the company
- Monitor the level of productivity of the organization and leads initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity
- Prudently manage the resources of the organization

**Education**:

- Business Administration and Management, Professional electrical, electronic, communications or end engineer
- Fluent verbal/written English

**Experience**:

- At least 3 years of experience as a plant manager in large electrical installations
- More than 8 years of supervisory experience with increasing levels of responsibility
- More than 3 years of experience in contract and budget management
- Experience in industries such as Renewable Energy and Power Plants is an advantage
- Experience in managing a customer service or technical support team is an advantage
- Excellent organizational management skills and strong analytical skills
- Excellent computer skills in the Microsoft Windows environment (includes Excel, Word and Power Point)
