**Purpose**

The General Manager - LATAM is responsible for leading and overseeing the operations of Chile and Peru regions, ensuring that both regions meet or exceed business goals and objectives. The General Manager - LATAM is accountable for P&L, operations, sales, marketing, and team management in the region. The General Manager will be accountable for managing relationships with key customers and stakeholders in the region to achieve high customer satisfaction levels and drive new business growth. The General Manager will be reponsable for managing the regional business within the framework of the global strategy, standards and policies.

**Requirements**:

- 15+ years experience working for technology and/or mining companies or related vendors servicing the mining industry
- Occupied at least one senior management regional role in either regional Sales or Customer Service disciplines for at least 2 years
- _A practical knowledge of mining methods and key customer business improvement needs_
- _Bachelor degree in related field_
- _Master's degree in business administration (MBA) or Master´s degree in related field preferred_
- _Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams_
- _Strategic and analytical mindset, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box to drive growth and improvement_
- _Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, financial reporting, and P&L management_
- _Experience in developing and implementing operational processes and procedures_
- _Experience in building and maintaining relationships with key customers, stakeholders, and partners_
- _Experience in the digital & mining businesses (both preferred)_
- _Periodic business trips throughout the LATAM territory -including travel to customer locations / International trips_
- Fluent in Spanish and English at written and conversational levels
- Physical presence at the Santiago office.

**_ Job Duties and Responsibilities_**
- **Safety Management**: The General Manager-LATAM must ensure a safe working environment for all employees. When working at a customer workplace ensure compliance with the customer’s safety standards as a minimum.
- **_Regulatory Compliance: _**_The General Manager-LATAM must ensure that the organization complies with all relevant regulations and laws in the region. The General Manager is responsible of Legal Compliance and Legal Entity. Where applicable and appointed to do so, assume official statutory responsibility for the legal entity operations under the relevant country laws for all business practices. Ensure compliance with all contracts in place. The General Manager must sponsor regular audits to the legal entity._
- **_Business Strategy: _**_The General Manager-LATAM is responsible for developing and executing the regional business strategy aligned with the overall organizational objectives and will reliably deliver on the regional fiscal year business plans. Meets objectives through the effective recruitment, management, utilization and retention of high performing teams._
- **_Financial Performance:_**_ The General Manager-LATAM is accountable for achieving financial targets for the region, including revenue, profit margins, and expenses. The General Manager must manage the budget and resources effectively to meet these targets._
