**The Role**:
MC+A is looking to enhance its core Professional Services team with a Senior Associate in our Cognitive Search Practice. This position is responsible for working with the various projects implementing Coveo Platform, Attivio, IBM Watson, Google Cloud Search, Lucidworks Fusion (Solr) and Elasticsearch. You will focus on content ingestion and security but will also assist other team members with deployment and configuration of systematic technical implementations.

**Responsibility**:

- Work with Technical Architect and Project Manager to deliver technical implementations, including:

- Decomposition of Stories to Technical Tasks
- Development of unit test and build scripts
- Following MC+A development guidelines
- Develop of solutions including frontend
- Javascript UX Frameworks (Angular, React, Typescript, etc.)
- Yarn
- Grunt/Gulp
- Visualforce Lightening
- Develop of backend services
- Java/Spring
- NodeJS
- Apex
- Scala
- Understanding and demonstrated knowledge in enterprise search
- IBM Watson / IBM Watson Explorer
- Coveo Platform
- Google Search Appliance / Google Cloud Search
- Lucidworks Fusion / Solr
- Attivio
- ElasticSearch
- Understanding and demonstrated knowledge in Machine Learning & AI
- Spark / Scala
- Hadoop / Yarn
- Zookeeper
- Open source tools
- Google APIs
- IBM APIs
- Be available during normal business hours and off hours for urgent issues (project launches, production outages, calls with APAC)
- Travel to client as necessary (typically less than 20% of the time)
- Knowledge of working with Config management tools like subversion & Git Hub.
- Should be able to use Eclipse IDE, Change Sets & ANT Scripts for code migration

**Qualification**:

- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience (preferably in Computer Science)
- 2-7 years’ experience developing software
- Strong English language communication skills (written and verbal)

- Documentation (System Specifications, Configurations)

- Apache Spark and Scala

- Jira/Confluence
- XML/XSLT
- MVC
- Mapping business requirements to product functions and features
- Experience in Salesforce configurations, Visualforce, APEX classes and methods, and Lightning ComponentsStrong experience in Apex, Visualforce;
