**Director Healthcare Information Solutions & Services, Latin America**

**Primary Purpose and Overall Objective of the Job**:
By working with bioMérieux IT VISION Suite, laboratory, hospital and healthcare systems engage in strategic projects to enhance diagnostic & clinical decisions. As **DIRECTOR HEALTHCARE INFORMATION SOLUTIONS & SERVICES **You will have the opportunity for driving healthcare change by providing support for our valued customers. You will work closely with the global, regional and local Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Medical Affairs teams with focus on IT elements of the solution offer.

This role is responsible to lead the execution of the regional IT solutions strategic plan for LATAM, unlock the business Full Potential of Data IT and to drive new business revenue through the delivery of value-added products and services that address core challenges for the lab and clinicians as it relates to infectious disease management.

Your contribution will be key working with the VP of regional marketing, Country Managers and subsidiaries in the region to understand key challenges and identifying the right product strategy that can help address these needs. The Director of Healthcare Information Solutions & Services will be an integral member of the commercial team, providing the information necessary to support our client and business needs across multiple countries.

You will play a key role with cross-functional and geographic teams in the delivery of complex projects to support sales, design, development & delivery, and new product innovations.

The role involves leading the Technical strategy for the R.E.A.L solution, working with strategic partnerships to ensure the success of the product lifecycle and right positioning and prioritization of new features to be launched later in the product roadmap. The role will ensure that the solution is developed with the right quality assurance and is aligned with the customer needs with deliveries just in time according bioMérieux needs.

This position will provide teams with a clear and descriptive set of requirements captured as stories or business needs, partner with the teams/committees to determine what can be delivered through balancing the need for new features, defects, and technical debt, working with stakeholders: Customers, Business, Product Managers, UX Experts, and Technical Anchors.

**Main Accountabilities**:

- Working with VP of regional marketing and commercial operations teams to define requirements and support commercial strategy.
- Supporting and/or delivering key sales presentations/demonstrations and coordinate key project deployments where required.
- Communicating with customers on product line technical issues where required.
- Regularly be on the field with the sales team to accelerate Data & Software sales learning curve or support large scale opportunities.
- Developing project plans for R.E.A.L delivery that integrate into the technical and operational strategy.
- Representing the project stakeholders throughout the process and Provides domain expertise during the acceptance testing process
- Working closely with Business management to understand the strategic roadmap and provide input to Keeps current with industry trends and domain expertise.
- Map current Data & Software opportunities with Marketing & Sales Teams

**Typical Studies-Experience**:

- Bachelor degree in computer science, business ,economics, or related field (experience in Sales/Marketing Healthcare IT)
- Strong experience of the complex B2B Data & Software sales process of Health Delivery Organizations.
- Experience in collaborating with sales leaders, deep understanding of all aspects related to sales position, prospecting, closing, pipeline &customer management, pricing, sales compensation for Data & Software
- Experience in direct and indirect sales, to increase Data & Software funnel size and conversion rates
- Experience in the Software & Data insights business for healthcare, life science diagnostic or medical device industry.
- Agile Certified Professional for Product Owner and Scrum Master
- 5+ years of technical and/or analytical progressively responsible experience; management experience preferred
- 5+ years leading Technical or Commercial Healthcare Solutions.
- 1 or 2 years of experience defining and building data models, reports and dashboards for business users and audiences
- 5+ years staff/resource management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); Access & SQL preferred
