We are looking to hire someone for the position of High School Math Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year according to the following skills and qualifications:

Position Details

Time commitment: Full-time

Qualifications and Experience
IB Math HL and/or SL teaching experience and IB training;

  • Math teaching experience using the Common Core Math Standards within an integrated, conceptually based curriculum;
  • Solid conceptual and applied knowledge of current research and trends in curriculum, instruction, and assessment;
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with colleagues;
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in high school math;
  • High level of English proficiency required.

Primary Responsibilities
Contribute to fostering the mission, vision, and values of Nido;

  • Engage in the Nido community by promoting a positive, collaborative school culture;
  • Teach five sections of math courses, including IB and non-IB courses;
  • Collaborate with the math department to further develop and improve the math curriculum, including participating in weekly curricular planning meetings with course-alike teaching partners;
  • Serve as an Advisor for a small group of 8-12 high school students;
  • Engage in the co-curricular program at Nido by advising a club or coaching an athletic team weekly;
  • Participate in the annual Week Without Walls program.
