Local Division Manager
Your role and responsibilitiesIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of Motion products within a designated market, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will achieve both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and developing new sales opportunities. The work model for the role is hybrid, contributing to the Motion business area in Chile. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Communicating to the customers about details related to delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions, in line with ABB's offering and strategy.
- Ensuring efficient marketing activities and communicating value proposition to customers.
- Identifying and driving the development of new market opportunities in the designated market.
- Managing administrative procedures in sales processes and supporting cash collection and project management activities, when needed.
You will join a dynamic, talented, high performing team, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role- Degree in Civil, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering (in progress).
- At least 2 years of experience in the market (mandatory), demonstrating advanced skills in drives (mandatory).
- Engagement in working with power electronics and experience in the Chilean market, particularly in mining, pulp, and paper industries (desirable).
- Ability to communicate in intermediate English.
- Valid Class B driver's license (mandatory) in Chile.
- Willingness to travel across Chile 30-40% of the time.
- Passion for proactivity, collaborative work, and building strong relationships.
