Senior Practitioner (PPD) – Advanced Practice and Transforming Roles (SG) An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered practitioner (nurse or allied health professional) to provide clinical and professional leadership in the effective implementation and monitoring of Transforming Roles and Non‑Medical Prescribing activity across NHS Fife. You will be an experienced and competent Advanced Practitioner with proven leadership skills, and extensive working knowledge of the national direction, legislation and guidance pertaining to the Transforming Roles programme and Non‑Medical Prescribing. Responsibilities Provide professional and clinical advice to the organisation in developing and supporting a future advanced professional workforce. Implement and monitor Transforming Roles and Non‑Medical Prescribing activity, ensuring compliance with national policies. Promote a culture that improves quality and enhances the delivery of person‑centred, safe and effective care. Act as a clinical and professional leader within the team, demonstrating advanced practice competence. Qualifications Registered with the NMC or HCPC. Possess a minimum of a Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Practice. Demonstrable evidence of ongoing continuing professional development. Extensive knowledge of national legislation and guidance for Transforming Roles and Non‑Medical Prescribing. Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme – required prior to appointment. Employment Details Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Employment type: Full‑time Work hours: As of 1/4/2026, the Agenda for Change full‑time working week will reduce from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part‑time hours will be reduced pro‑rata. Pay scale will remain unchanged.
