By driving customer engagement for this program, you will have a fantastic opportunity to shape and deliver the Migration Acceleration Program.
You will be accountable for engaging senior customer relations and collaborating with account teams.You must excel in working with customers to explain the business potential of migration and the strategies created to minimize risk and support customers in achieving their goals.
You should feel at ease cooperating with diverse global teams within agile organizations, as this program will have dependencies on other teams within AWS.
Typical cross-functional cooperation involves business development teams, solutions architecture, marketing, partners, professional services, compliance, product, sales enablement, sales operations, and other relevant teams.
The ideal candidate will possess experience in dealing with enterprise customers on extensive transformation initiatives.This requires a customer-focused and cooperative approach, solid technical acumen to instill confidence in customers and address their inquiries, the ability to engage and guide customers in realizing the business advantages of their migrations, showcasing a solid grasp of cloud solutions, and a dedication to aiding customers in their transformation through cloud technologies.
Role & Responsibilities
- Work backward from aiding customers in attaining business objectives, engage with customers on initial call decks and supervise regional business development teams, and support our account teams.
- Identify opportunities to craft compelling proposals to assist customers in achieving business value from migrations, offer a roadmap for customers to develop migration plans and business cases, and ensure clarity on AWS's value proposition(s) for the customer during their transition to AWS.
- Cooperate with the technical and industry teams to communicate consistent outcomes and requests from customers during these interactions.
- Create dashboards and reporting systems to capture outcomes and enhancement possibilities. Regularly update executive leadership on progress.
- Conduct customer briefings, present at customer events, and promote AWS's thought leadership in the IT transformation field.
- 5+ years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in formulating strategies that influence strategic decisions at the organizational level
- Experience in managing programs across cross-functional teams, establishing processes, and coordinating release schedules
