About the Role:


En BHP Chile buscamos a Specialist HSE por un período de seis meses (con posible extensión a un año), para proveer asesoría técnica en las prácticas de gestión de riesgos, a fin de proponer acciones dentro del plan de influencia para que los Assets (faenas) no operados por BHP, nuestros NOJV (Non-operated Join Ventures), tengan un desempeño sostenible en seguridad.


Funciones Específicas:

  • Analizar y apoyar técnicamente las actividades de gestión de riesgos en seguridad (programa cultural de liderazgo en terreno, gestión de riesgos materiales de seguridad, implementación y verificación de controles críticos, programa de eliminación de fatalidades y programa de gestión integrada de contratistas)
  • Administrar, mejorar y gestionar los procesos y sistemas (plataformas) de seguridad.
  • Interpretar y monitorear los indicadores de desempeño de seguridad, analizando tendencias y proponiendo planes de mejoramiento para mantener los procesos bajo control o para revertir desviaciones identificadas.
  • Desarrollar e implementar estrategias de mejoramiento en seguridad. Mantener la gobernanza de los programas y procesos claves de seguridad.
  • Define e implementa estrategia de gestión del ciclo de vida de la seguridad.
  • Trabaja para solucionar problemas e implementa soluciones que apuntan y resuelven la causa subyacente de los problemas.
  • Proveer asesoría técnica especializada en materias de seguridad incluyendo instancias de coaching a líderes de la región sobre las mejores prácticas en seguridad, Requerimientos Corporativos de Seguridad (Our Requirements), liderazgo en terreno, gestión de riesgos de seguridad y otros elementos claves de gestión.
  • Coordinar y monitorear la implementación en la región de componentes claves de Nuestros Requerimientos de Seguridad.
  • Conducir, facilitar y mantener las actividades que forman parte del programa de gestión de riesgos estandarizados de seguridad.
  • Apoya a Head Of HSE (Health, Security & Environment) en análisis de data/revisión calidad de investigaciones, presentaciones, safety shares y compartir de buenas practicas.

About You:

Para desarrollar el rol con éxito requerirás:

  • Título Profesional en gestión/prevencion de riesgos o carrera afín, con 5 años de experiência ad hoc.
  • Disponibilidad para viajar eventualmente a las distintas operaciones, proyectos e instalaciones de BHP en Minerals Americas Brasil.
  • Tener al menos Inglés intermedio (se privilegiará un nível avanzado).
