Our opportunity
We are looking for ournew Training & Development Lead in Santiago de Chile.
In this role you will be responsible for developing and deploying global and standard onboarding and training programs which will develop critical competencies for the workforce within the MCL organization, in alignment with Global Standards and OPEX. Assesses, defines, develops, and teaches, through different platforms, the functional and technical skills needed to run a successful fulfilment operation. Develops and deploys Lean programs.
Provides assistance and support to our leaders in coaching, train the trainer, and other topics required by the team. Can hold the role as trainer or facilitator, as well as coordinator. Ensure excellent communication, teamwork, and alignment with key stakeholders, developing curriculum and acting as a trusted partner.
Key Responsibilities:
Support Development of Lean Academy / 5’s, TTT program, other required trainings, using appropriate methodologies, tools, and available platforms to create scalable and effective learning content . Programs, coordinates and monitors roll-out for global and local onboardings and trainings Maps gaps in onboarding and trainings programs across MCL site Defines relevant content for each type of onboarding and training, including hard & soft skills. Standardizes across Areas. Connect Global Standards and Operational Excellence with the content of the training & onboarding programs. Supports in development, and/or adapts global training programs to regional/local needs Evaluate continuously the onboardings and trainings quality and maintains content updated. Maintains training repository Define relevant KPIs to track programs completion and effectiveness. Deliver trainings on specific topics and drives process adherence across functions and job levelsCoordinate and monitor successful execution of onboarding program and specific trainings required for new client implementations. Requirements: Proven experience in logistics (5+ years) Strong focus on lean methodology Advanced english skills Proficiency in portuguese (desirable) Exceptional ability to synthesize and select critical topics from several sources to be included in the onboarding and training programs Planning and organization skills Availability to travel as needed Ability to sell and promote the onboarding and training programs Strategic mindset and executing skills Collaborative and open minded to work effectively with colleagues with Regional, Global, and local scopes #LI-AM3Maersk is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we embrace different styles of thinking.
