Chief Flight Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Flight Instructor to join our team at Airbus Helicopters Chile S.p.A. This is a permanent role with a salary consistent with the current market, along with AIRBUS benefits.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering training and evaluation in various courses within the Airbus Training Catalogue, ensuring thoroughness, quality, and excellence in every interaction with our customers.

• Deliver high-quality flight instruction and evaluation services to customers;
• Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Airbus Training Catalogue and its requirements;
• Maintain accurate records and reports of training activities and customer feedback;
• Collaborate with other instructors and support staff to ensure seamless delivery of training services;
• Contribute to the development of new training programs and materials;
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in aviation training.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

1. A Commercial Pilot License (CPL) and a Frozen ATPL or ATPL;
2. Simulator Instructor experience as an SFI/TRI on A320/A330/A350 aircraft;
3. A minimum of 3,000 hours of flying experience, including 1,500 hours on Multi-Pilot Aircraft;
4. Upset Prevention and Recovery Training (UPRT) experience;
5. At least three years of commercial aviation experience as a pilot on FAR25 or FAR23 aircraft in Multi-Pilot Operation (MPO);
6. Fluent English language skills for teaching, briefing, and debriefing purposes;
7. Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
8. Able to work effectively in a team environment;
9. Familiarity with Certification Specifications 25 (FAR25) or Certification Specifications 23 (FAR23) aircraft.
