Coordinator, Human Resources
**Summary**
Under direct supervision, the Human Resources Coordinator aids with and facilitates the human resource processes. The incumbent will have the ability to ensure certain plans are administered in accordance with federal and state regulations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including recordkeeping, file maintenance, and data entry.
**What you'll do**:
- Conduct new hire orientation and related personnel administration. Ensure accuracy and legal compliance on all new hire administration.
- Support the HR Manager on all established HR practices related to talent acquisition, performance management, talent management, and engagement.
- Coordinate and lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives related to well-being and community service.
- Maintain personnel administration requirements in line with company policies and government regulations.
- Manage personnel records in line with federal and company record retention requirements. Considerable filing, copying, distribution of materials, etc.
- Perform customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions. Interact with various levels of management, vendors, and employees. Answer inquiries on general employment verifications, benefits, and company policies. Assist in resolving general issues.
- Oversee/record/track/compile/consult on and perform data entry of various information, including personal data, compensation, performance reviews, disciplinary actions, termination data, etc.
- Compile data from various areas to prepare reports related to HR initiatives.
- May assist in investigations of employee complaints in the absence of or with the HR Manager. Handle confidential information in a professional manner, while respecting employee privacy and maintaining company confidentiality.
- Practice and comply with all regulations promoting a safe and healthy work environment (i.e. OSHA).
- Adhere to privacy; confidential, proprietary company policies and procedures (i.e. HIPAA).
- Perform related projects and duties as assigned
**About you**:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or related field and/or equivalent work experience
- SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred
- Possess acceptable attendance and performance standards
- Possess effective communications and interpersonal skills
- Possess a high level of integrity, motivation, and self-sufficiency
- Possess a strong understanding of audit standards and best practices
- Possess strong analytical and organizational skills
- Must be detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Ability to adapt/adjust to frequent or unexpected changes in the work environment
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions
- Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, partners, and vendors
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and meet multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to resolve issues under tight time constraints
