**Position Summary**

Bechtel is seeking a M&M Construction Automation Lead for the Mining & Metals team, based in Chile. The position will be responsible for Reporting directly to the M&M Automation Manager and taking functional direction from the Manager of Construction and/or Chief Construction Engineer, the Construction Automation Lead provides construction input into the overall M&M Automation Strategy.

**Responsibilities**

The M&M Construction Automation Lead is principally responsible for:

- Working with the Manager of construction to coordinate construction Automation resources to be assigned to projects.
- Reviewing and providing feedback on project staffing plans to ensure sufficient resources are included to support the project.
- Developing training plans and assisting with implementation of training to field Engineering, construction automation personnel and others, including design Engineering as required.
- Providing technical support to global projects as required.
- In coordination with other functional automation leads, auditing data exchanges to ensure they are implemented and configured correctly.
- Ensuring rules of credit are configured and review proposed deviations if required.
- Ensuring quantity reporting interfaces are configured, and quantity reports are reviewed for completeness and accuracy.
- Providing functional oversight of construction automation personnel and working with the Manager of Construction on individual career plans, development plans and performance reviews.
- Providing feedback and collaborates with the Manager of Construction during project functional reviews.
- Providing training and support to end users and project stakeholders as required.

The M&M Construction Automation Lead shall be knowledgeable and/or experienced in:

- Knowledge of other functional work processes to a level which allows clear articulation of construction requirements to the other functions.
- Microsoft Office Suite intermediate skills with emphasis on Microsoft Access, Excel, Power BI, etc.
- Bechtel or similar EPC experience desirable.
