The **_Strategy Manager _**is responsible for direct and Control the implementation and management of the corporate strategy for Engie Chile, to ensure alignment with the Group's strategic direction and climate objectives, working closely with each department and the GBUs, communicating coherently and comprehensively the company's corporate strategy, with the Group's objectives and environmental trends, influencing the regulatory and public opinion landscape, fully integrating the challenges of digital transformation into the company's strategic vision.
**What you’ll do**:
- **Participate in strategic definition processes**, in order to provide strategic insights to senior management for informed decision making, proposing a long-term vision to management, fully integrating the challenges of digital transformation and aligning with the Group's objectives and country challenges.
- **Collaborate with cross-functional teams in gathering strategic insights**, in order to maintain ongoing dialogues with the various GBUs and GEMS, aligned with business objectives and Groups vision as well, ensuring the implementation of strategic initiatives.
- **Define and prepare the strategic deep dives**, the annual Strategy seminar of the Board in collaboration with the executive sponsors and their teams, up to the integration of the decisions taken in the company's medium-term planning, in order to ensure the execution of strategic events.
- **Conduct a comprehensive analysis of the market**, in order to ensure the identification of trends, opportunities and potential risks to inform senior management, facilitating decision making and presenting strategic proposals, carrying out strategic assessments on issues relevant to the company..
- **Evaluate and recommend strategic investments in new technologies or projects** in order to maintain a competitive advantage, considering market perceptions, contributing to a competitive position of the company, aligned with Group guidelines and market trends as well.
- **Advocate for the integration of innovative ideas and initiatives**, in order to ensure the incorporation of proposals and projects aligned with the country's strategic objectives and those of the Group
- **Research and monitor all market essentials (strategic watch),** in order to keep informed about local and regional regulations, policy changes, emerging market dynamics, investment trends, competitor and customer positions among other key elements of the market environment, contributing to informed decision making for the company.
- **Supervise the development of the key performance indicators (KPI) and financial metrics**, in order to provide information on the overall effectiveness of the strategy, assessing the impact and efficiency of implemented actions.
- **Foster team development**, in order to provide mentoring, guidance, support to younger team members on strategic frameworks, contributing to the development of their skills and career path in the organization.
**What you’ll bring**:
- Master’s degree in economy, business, finance, or relative field
- Proven experience in strategic planning and execution within the energy industry, with exposure to international contexts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies, considering both global and local perspectives.
- In-depth knowledge of energy market trends, regulations, and competitive landscape at both international and local level.
- Demonstrated track-record of successfully implementing strategic initiatives and driving positive business outcome
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving industry environment, within an international context
- Knowledge of the Chilean political & regulatory environment
- Spanish and English working proficiency
- At least 5 years in similar positions, ideally in the energy sector, with experience of international context
- 10 years of experience in corporate strategy, with a significative experience in strategy consulting
