Our mission is to streamline the process of acquiring complete and accurate medical histories, ensuring agencies and intended parents have timely access to the critical information they need.

**The Role**

The Medical Records Collection Specialist is a fully remote, independent contractor role that helps collect, organize, and manage patient medical records. Your work ensures the medical review team has the correct information quickly and accurately to support each case.

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain logs and databases for collected records with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Follow all privacy and HIPAA rules to protect patient information.
- Work with provider offices to get missing records, using your knowledge of medical terms and documentation.
- Use your medical assistant experience in OB/GYN and Labor & Delivery to review and communicate medical records accurately.
- Stay up to date with healthcare privacy rules and best practices
- Communicate clearly and professionally with surrogates, agencies, and clinics
- Work with the Intake Team to find and fix missing information

**Preferred**
- Experience using Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Gmail)

**Essential Requirements**
- Fluent in business English (spoken and written)
- Must have your own computer and a reliable internet connection
- Must pass a background check to qualify for this contractor role
- This role requires working standard USA East Coast business hours (Argentina time zone aligned to Eastern Standard Time / Eastern Daylight Time).
